Several years ago, Ronnie, Lori and I all started taking pottery classes. After a few teachers on different days and nights, we each made our way into a Thursday night class for a make-up session. And each of us stayed on as we learned more than we ever had before. As a group, the Thursday night class was a little intimidating, but I have never had the pleasure, before or since, to work with such a wonderful and fun group of people.
As the years went by, our skills and friendship grew. We did a few craft shows together as we had long exhausted the family and friends we could gift pottery to, and late last year decided we wanted to do more together. Thus, claygirls was born.
We are largely functional potters, and we make what we love. We make pieces for you to enjoy every day, as well as those which we hope will become part of your family celebrations.
